Default Mice

Hello

could anyone please tell me what mice can and cant eat please?

Ive been giving my 2 mice carrot and have tried them with apple (which is meant to be their fav but they dont like it lol) My friend gave them some lettuce (spelling) 2 weeks ago and they loved it. But last night i took one of the mice out and she has the squits (lovely) lol.
so i just wondered if there was something in their food that caused it and also what they can and cant eat so i know for the future please.

Thank you

Jo

Yeah too much fresh food can give mice the squits, mine get a little bit now and again, a treat really.

you dont really need to give them anything other than mouse/hamster food in my experience. one thing i used to give as a treat when i was breeding them was cheerios. OMG cheerios are like crack cocaine to mice! they love them! and plus they can hold on to them well because of the shape (like a mouse donut) and it wont give them a bad tummy. BE WARNED: CHEERIOS CAUSE FIGHTS!

mice love bread well mine do straight from the loaf and broken to pieces like feeding them to ducks at pond

so if you want to try bread then go for it as well as crackers

hope that helps Dale
