Default Had to take Luna to the vets tonight

Had to take Luna, my Siamese, to the vets again tonight. She has a recurring problem where she gets a real snotty nose and loses her voice. The vet gives her an anti-biotic and steroid injection and she 's normally fine again in a day or two and can be great for anything between a month and 6 months before it comes back again

I had her at the vets last week for it, but this time the injections didn't work and she just kept sneezing snot everywhere, but as it was clear I wasn't worried. However, this morning the snot was yellow (sorry about graphic description) so it was back to the vets again for some long term anti-biotic.

I've been steaming her with Olbas oil to help her breathing, but she's looking really sorry for herself at the minute, poor wee soul!!

Well she's still snotty and it's still yellow and she look depressed, but she's eating OK, I think it's just hard for her to breathe.

Hopefully the anti-biotic is kicking in now and getting rid of the infection, but she'll just have to fight the virus (which it no doubt is!) herself.

Ask your vet about Bisolvin Powder it clears the nasal passages. We use it at our rescue centre. There is also a new antibiotic you give for 3 days we are waiting for a dosage chart I know it begins with Z but cant remember the rest. Sometimes the cats body becomes immune to certain anti biotics . Siamese seem prone to Cat Flu I used to have 5. Hope Luna is feeling better now x
