Default greaving dog....

Im worried about my puppy coop, he is 12 months old and although he is mine he was housed with my mothers dog cos i still live with them. Anyway, our other dog Gizmo had to be put to sleep yesterday and since this - Coop has been quite unsettled, he keeps wandering around and just staring in to space and crying and now he is trying to hide his food.

Hes never tried to hide anything before and strangely enough i noticed our last dog did this too when he lost his companion.

Is there anything i can do for Coop to help him get over this? Its horribele enough for us to get over and its even worse to see coopy upset too.

May sound as if im just being silly but if n e one has n e ideas id really appreciate it.
