Default Rottweiler Rescues?

Can anyone point me in the direction of a good rottweiler rescue, preferably in the north/north west?
I am looking to get advice about my ex-housemates dog. He has moved out of our shared house without warning (which I am also in the process of leaving) and left his poor old rott, whom I do not have the time or space to care for in his absence.
I have been back to the house a few times this week to pack boxes and the dog never appears to have been tended to. He is a lovely dog who does not deserve this sort of treatment, I cant go any longer knowing he is sat in that house on his own

I know people will say call the RSPCA etc.. save it, Im not after advice, just a reputable rescue to talk to.

Oh please tell me you are feeding and watering him/her???

I know this is not your responcibility but any decent human being would do this?

Most rescues are in contact with each other on a regular basis as they move animals around.

So if you contact one like this one -> Fife Rottweiler Rescue

They will have detials of one nearer you.

Dont be ridiculous, who would knowingly leave a dog without food or water? Least of all then post the information for all to see on the internet
