It has also been attributed to feeding cats from plastic bowls.

They can get a reaction to the plastic. I always use porcelain or stainless steel - however, my Roscoe still gets it, although not very severe, just a few blackheads.

I used to have probs with my cat getting her into the carrier so i started when i needed to get her in leave it on the living room floor with treats in it she would go in and eat them then leave the carrier there and later when i needed her in put treats in again and let her walk in and close the door so she dint notice cos she was eating treats lol

If I leave a carrier in my living room, everyone gets in it, cos they love going out!!!

There's been more than one time when I've had to take a cat to the vet, put the carrier down in the living room, went to find the necessary cat, put him/her in the carrier and set off, wondering why it weighed so heavy and then arrived at the vet to realise there was an extra cat on board!!!
