It's a huge list.
But if all the mammals are cared for adaquetly. I dont see why not. You could argue about most animals, Snakes, Lizards Etc.

Thats quite a list you have given. Im not to keen on the idea of chimps, As how intelligient they are. If all have the correct captive housing, and they are cared for.

Personally, I Still wouldn't Have One. Even how appealing a serval would be, its not practical.

theres too many ifs and buts really isnt there..

if you could give the animals EVERYTHING they needed for a happy healthy life, then why not?

but theres not too many people who can say they could easily fulfil the requirements of a group of primates is there?

also, one could argue what difference there is to keeping exotic mammals to exotic reptiles & birds etc..couldn't they?

however, you could say it was wrong as quite a few primate species etc. are in pretty low numbers in the wild, so we should be looking after the ones in the wild by trying to preserve their environment etc. as opposed to keeping them as pets..

in all, i dunno lol

I dont think the animals you listed have a place in captivity, But having said that, neither alot of the snakes and lizards (retics, huge monitors etcs) as no matter how big the enclosure its just not good IMO

I think aslong as they are not wild caught, they are cared for properly, have the right amount of space and are kept as naturally as possible then its OK.
I wouldnt agree with WC being made captive as they are just not used to it.

I would say in general I am against it. When zoos and safari parks struggle to provide what I would consider adequate sized enclosures with enough environmental enrichment for many of the animals listed, I can't really see how an individual can hope to do better.

i voted for im ok with it. as some people have already said aslong as they are given the correct care then i see no problem beacuse its not hurting other people and its not harming the animal. but i think people should be given some form of education before they get the pet because of their special needs. there are alot of people on here and everywhere else that has exotic pets and they are healthy, happy and well cared for.

I see no problem with it at all, provided they are kept properly
