Yeah, my dog was from a breeder, and KC. Emma, if you did a little research on the matter, you would actually find, that it is normal and common, for breeders to start sellin the pups at 6 weeks old. Just because your dog has turned out nervous doesnt mean they all do. Mabey even if you got it when it was a year old it would be the same, just like a shy or nervouse person, it isnt because they were born too early or anything else does it.

Do some research emma, you will soon see it is normal for 6 weeks old pups to be sold.

Just to add - this isn't a personal attack on you for taking the puppy at 6 weeks, I hope it doesn't come across like that.

It just sounds like the person breeding them needs a little more education on responsible dog keeping/breeding All she needs is one operation is she will no longer keep having unwanted puppies.

Just becouse a dog is kennel club reg'ed does not mean it has been bred correctly and I dont know any reputable breeders that would let a puppy go at such a younge age, and I have been round dogs all my life from when my mum bred GSD's untill now when I bred siberian huskies and why does noone mention any healf test i know there dont do them on muts but did your GSD have any done?

Please, every1 saying that a puppy shouldnt be sold at 6 weeks, DO SOME RESEARCH! It is a normal age for them to be sold. Why cant you see that?
