Default New Arrival

Some of you may have seen my other thread but for those of you that haven't i responded to an ad for a german shepard pup yesterday.

This was the pic on the ad

She was advertised as a pup who needed a new home due to personal circumstances.

When we got there i was told she had been bought for a teenager who had fallen out with her mum and gone to live with her dad. Her dad bought her an 8 week old pup 2 and a half weeks ago.
The girl fell out with her father and moved back in with her mum and left the pup with her dad. Her dad then rang up 5 days later to tell her to come and get the pup as he couldnt cope with her. They went and got her, took her back to the mums where the mums rottie bitch promply had a go at her so she spent the next 5 days shut in the kitchen.

We picked up a lovely round fat pup last night who promptly threw up a buckets worth of pasta in the car and is now skin and bone.

But shes here, shes fed and shes extremely well behaved.

Our nearly 11 week old monster pup Sasha today:

Theres few decorations left on the tree and ill never have clean floors again but shes absolutely brilliant

Yeah shes got the potential to be the biggest GSD ive ever had. Shes almost 11 weeks and already stands at 18 inches Shes just legs at the moment and needs some time to grow into them.

She'll be put on a calcium supplement and have limited exercise for a while to protect her bones and tendons as she grows, last thing i want is a big dog that can barely walk

Just caught her trying to eat tinsel

Not convinced shes a pure GSD at all or that shes only 11 weeks old but time will tell. Not that it makes any difference to me but her right age would have been useful, the more i look at her the more im convinced shes older than they said.

Please dont give the pup extra calcium. This is extremely bad for large breed pups.It causes joint problems in later life
