My terriers dew clore is causing her abit of discomfort. It's totally my fault as i've missed her nail's being trimmed.

The dew clore nail has come of, kinda split then come away. Now the wicks just been left.

Theres abit of nail at the top of it but thats it - What should i do?

If i take her to the vets, theres nothing they can do for it, maybe i should bandage around it????

ANY HELP WOULD BE BRILLIANT AS I HATE SEEING HER MOPE ABOUT!

I'm currently in the process of studying veterinary nursing and i highly recommend taking your little doggy to the vets to get it seen to properly. I am far from qualifying but i know that if the quick is near exposure it may cause great discomfort to your dog.

A trip to the vets and a small surgery may cost you a few bob but at the end of the day it is defiantly worth it. your dog would be perfectly fine with that claw removed.

I would also recommend protecting the claw with a sock and a secure piece of micro pore tape or a strip of plaster. this will just secure the sock until you can get it seen to.
