Default Mice???

Hellooo. Happy boxing day lol

Could i keep a breeding pair of mice in a 18x12 tank? Not much height, but they can go into a 2/3 ft viv in a year or so.

I keep 1 male and 4 females in cages around that size.
Think mine are 8 inches tall but may be more.
Stephen.

when i had my hamsters in a tank type thing i made a mesh top and hung the water bottles from that

I think you can also buy bottle hangers for tanks too try pets at home or look online

With faunariums I melt a hole big enough for the bottle nozzle to go through and two little ones near the top to use cable ties to hold the bottle on.
The same way I do with the RUB's for the rodents.
I am using 9ltr and 18ltr RUB's for my mice. I have pairs in the 9ltr's and 1.3's in the 18ltrs.

What is the minimum size tank for 1.2? Is a 12x8x12 big enough? Or is it too small.

The lab cages are smaller than that, aren't they, and people keep 1.2 or 1.3's in them.
I prefer to let mine have little more space.
I like to think they have a nice life even if it's not a very long one!!!!!!

Is agree... Whether they are for food or as pets, I think they deserve a nice life. Same goes for any feeder animal.
