Default Found this in the garden

Hi just wondered if this is a mink, my dog found it in the garden and me old man took the pic but it was gone by the time i got home.

Yes it is a mink. Nasty little buggers.

Thank goodness for Animal Aid letting them go into our countryside to decimate the wildlife!!

Yeah they are abig problem up in Scotland ive heard (when visiting the outer hebrides) They hate them lol

We have them here down by the river.

If you see him again dont' try and catch him.
If you do you arent' allowed to keep it but you aren't allowed to re-release it either.
I think it has to be euthanised.
Or this is what you had to do a few years ago I odn't know if things have changed recently.

The rules are still the same with them... Same goes for grey squirrels, rats, etc.

There's someone on one of the ferret forums that has a couple.

I think she can only keep them because she runs a rescue.

can you not get any papers for them, like a license, i know you can get it for wild snakes, but they expire after a certain amount of time, not sure it would be worth it, not a big fan of minks, they evil little buggers *puts mink skin coat on*

A Mink for sure, we get quite a few down here by the river, one was tunnelling into my chicken run at night and eating the food until I set a trap in the tunnel...
