Well as alot of you already know i have 2 hobbs frodo and fidgit, this weekend i rehomed a 5 month old jill she was neglected a bit and my hands are very sore from her nipping and scratching... anyway i trimmed her nails and cleaned out her little house (never been done) i also put some toys in for her which she went mad for! i have named her penny (short for penelope) cos she is a proper dinky dainty lady i am having to train her to eat ferret food as her diet has been only dog meat and i am having to train her to drink from a water bottle as she was only drinking from a rusty saucepan but slowly but surely she is gettin there.

and before the rants begining i am getting my boys done next week and as soon as pen is old enough she will be spayed i am not going to be beeding them.

I will try to get some pics of her when she is a little more settled.

Ferrets are a passion of mine too and even though i dont run a rescue, I will be fostering for a local welfare.. Its a good place to start.

Why not? I have 2 mals and a husky/GSD mix the dogs get used to the ferrets. Just never leave them unnatended in the same room without bars between them. Or if you can Let the furts have a room the dogs cant go in Ours is our utility room.

Yes I'm trying to persuade you into having a ferret hehehe

well i have 3 furts and a staffie and they play lovely together and dave (luton reptile rescue) has 2 furts and a skunk and they all play with his 2 dogs there is no reason you cant have a furt i think they get a rough ride in life and thats why i wanna help they are the best pets ever so much fun
