who wants a soppy story with a happy ending lol
ok long story but ill try and miss out all the boring bits lol.
3 years ago i had a rescue greyhound, lovely 2 year old male fawn BIG greyhound lol. anyway one day he escaped from the garden, even tho to this day we still dont know how. anyway we spent ages ringing round rescue centre and putting up posters but we never heard anything. yesterday i got a letter from the RGT (retired greyhound trust) to say that a dog was in a rescue center (20 mins from my house) that they thought was mine. his ear tattoo was traced back to me. anyway cut a long story short it turned out to be him and hes now back home with me. ive never been so shocked in all my life and i know he recognised me. hes apparently had 4 homes in the last 3 years and was removed from the last home because the man beat him. a woman who just started working there knew about the rgt, who hadnt previously been contacted, and said that they should be able to match his tattoo with and owner, and luckily it did. welcome home boy, seems my troop just keeps expanding

Nice ending, 3 years is a long time to be gone.
You must have a big garden and house with all those dogs.

That is wonderful!!! Just goes to show that we should never give up on a missing pet...
I hope our Chester (a BIG black moggy who we had from a kitten and he'd be 6 years old now) comes home... He's been missing since August 26th...
