The sugar in the tea will rot the cats teeth! And i doubt the milk in it will be very good for her guts!I used to leave about half a mouthful of tea in the bottom of my cup for my terrier n i let him finish it!2 sugars and milk and as hes got older his front teeth hav rotted it doesnt hurt or bother him but the teeth are pretty much gone so i stopped giving him tea if iv had the dogs out for walk and its cold and snowy outside il make them a cup of tea with a tiny amount of milk and no sugar and put some each in their own bowls!

one of my dogs is always pinching my tea. however I have recently found out when we go on holiday and my boyfriends dad looks after her he makes her cups of tea so its all his fault really.

So he drinks half a can weekly yet he only did it once? Make up your mind. That's highly irresponsible.

I once had a house party and one of the idiots who came was giving the Highland cows Stella! Plank!

I have a rescue poodle who steals tea. She tries to put you off drinking it by staring. Tables no problem she jumps onto it. I also have a cat that will kill for chocolate.Highly poisonous to animals I know but no ones told her. She opens cupboard etc just to steal it even biscuits with it on. very strange little cat

I doubt the amount of milk in that amount of tea would upset her stomach, but the sugar and the caffeine might make her a little high!!

If it's a normal cup size and she's drinking one-fifth, that's not really a lot. If it's a normal mug holding almost ½ a pint, then it's quite a bit more. I would let her have about a teaspoon if she enjoys it but wouldn't encourage one-fifth of a mug!

My Siamese goes around licking out our empty coffee cups - loves it! But it's only the dregs so I don't stop her.
