Question RIP, for the truth I may never know...

(enclosed is a picture of Spike, sadly the only picture that exists of him...took me over an hour to find it through the clogged up attic, and he is quite young on the pic! such a handsome devil )

I had to make this post... I've only ever had one dog, and he was great his name was spike and he was a jack russell. sadly, one day Spike got "lost" in the park whilst on a walk with me and my dad... I don't know what happened to Spike, and 10years on I doubt I ever will. All I can say is:
If you're still out there, keep living....
If not, I'm sorry I failed you, and If so I hope you're memory lives on through every old/current and new pet, that I do my utmost for my pets and never fail a pet as I failed you.

I'm doing this, because for me this is the only way to put my mind at rest.
RIP little fella x

Sorry to hear bout your little Spike, its always worst not knowing for sure. I'm sure someone found him and he is having or has had a good life. These things can happen, and its sounds like while he was with you he was having a lovely time, and your post here shows how much you cared and that you didn't fail him. As you said, there are many more animals you can give the same love and care too and its good you haven't been put off.
Sorry for your loss, he's a cute little chap! x
