I don't think anyone has jumped on you!!! Perhaps before getting defensive (like i asked you not to ) you should read posts properly!!

If you want to look like the real deal i suggest you act like it!!

I will happily offer you not only trade prices but financial help on a regular basis, all you have to do is calm down, smile and email me so we can have a chat about your operation.

LOL not me having an operation it was a little beardie I rehomed
I'm not at all offended.

But my reason for doing this was there are not many rehomers in the London area.

Very kind of your offer
and if its better maybe people would like to call us a last hope rest home for reptiles?

I don't often use this site I belong to another well known site which is why i don't post often.

take care p x

You know, this is a well versed subject on many forums.

However, all the time people dump animals in woods, forests, on the downs, leave in bags in shops, then we need 'rescue' centres.

There are also lots of keepers , who through no falut of thier own can no longer keep thier pets.

Local and national societies dont put up with 'cowboys' and certainly dont invite them to join committees. I know this for a fact, the work and dedication I put into my local society, ESRAS, without thought or expectation of reward. In fact I did get rewarded, with an invite to join the committee, a postion which I am proud of.

Any way, back to the point, with all the dumped and unwanted reptiles out there, I think any exposure a rescue centre can get is good, even if just one animal is helped its worth it.

I dont know if Molly will agree, but 95% of my rescues come from word of mouth, or rspca rehomes, not from forum adds.

Best of luck and thanks to anyone who helps an animal in need !

Where do you find the space to keep 70 reps in a small home I guess if you take in these poorly reptiles and spend your own money and time getting them well again then its up to you at the end of that day if you decide to keep them. I love my reptiles to bits but theres no way I could hold down a full time job and still have time to see to every single one of them if I owned 70 but good for you for doing it if it makes you happy

What is you peoples problem on this poxy forum , someone does a bit of good and you always have to try and make them out to be bad.
As someone who knows many people at rescue centres and also has someone who has done loads of work with rescued herps i know how hard these people work.
Now if you worked 12 to 16 hours a day and anywhere in the country then had to drive home would you spend every last sleepy hour caring for, cleaning out and feeding, god knows how many animals.

For gods sake give these peole the respect they deserve, ok there are people out there for the free herps but people know who they are so leave the genuine people to it.

Rant ended sorry gettin ready for a long day at work
