I did try a herp name first, but it was taken.

Nat, I was just making the point that not everyone here has a herp name, so what should it matter if I don't?

tombraider the problem with staffs in rescues is more than "quite a lot" it's absolutely overwhelming. They outnumber crossbreeds in Battersea dogs home now, the first time a purebred has tipped the mongrels to the top of the chart.

also, i think kingkongtom will have a good enough idea what type of people we are if he uses the forum and has seen what most people are like for quiet a while.

Plenty of people would, Invexotics. Sad fact. I'm not looking for trouble, I was just looking for an answer to a question. I've got one now, so I'd appreciate it if people would stop accusing me of being someone or something I'm not. I can't imagine who you think I am or what you think my motivation is if you don't believe me.

And Kerrie, the problem with cross breeds is just as bad, particularly staff crosses. There's just more than rescues can reasonably handle, so lots are getting put to sleep in pounds because nobody wants them. I suggest you do a little bit of research into the situation with rescues if you really love staffs, you might find it a bit of an eye opener. Also, an Irish staff is not a distinct breed, it's just a variation in type.
