God I really would love to be able to help. I could take all but the bosc. Wish I was closer. But I'd like to give the money to rescue rather than him. He should really hand them over to rescue, so sad to know they are suffering. I did rescue before I had kids, hardest time going to pick up reps and trying so hard not to lose my temper with them seeing how the animal was suffering. Bloody heartless.

I always have room for rescues, I make room if I have to.
We are currently handrearing a kitten, we've been feeding him since a week old. hard work but totally worth it for the little mad ball of fluffy tabby persian cross.
I've done wildlife and rehab courses, do anything to rescue anything but sadly don't drive otherwise I'm sure I'd have picked you 2 up and we'd have sorted the guy out.

Ahhh found out for myself. If your still in Kirriemuir my dad is going to be heading South to Middlesborough in a week or so. If anyone along the way is interested in any of the reps and they're not too far off course I might be able to pursuade him to drop them off.

Hi Guys
Thanks for all your concern and offers of help. I would like to point out though that these animals are not suffering at all in the physical sense, Stuart and I feed, water and clean them all out daily as well as going in morning and night to turn on and off the necessary lights, mats, etc.
Up untill a couple of weeks ago this guy did live at the property and has cared for the animals well, its only now that he is living elsewhere that Stuart and I have taken over looking after them.
We have called the SSPCA but as the animals are not suffering, or have not technically been abandoned then there is nothing they will do, and neither Stuart nor myself are willing to stop caring for these reps so that they would then fall under that category after a couple of weeks.
As Stuart also mentioned this guy owes us money, and quite a considerable amount (we will have 4 kids 9, 6, 1 and newborn by then, all expecting Santa to perform his usual magic) and if the reptiles were to go "missing" or "escape" as some peeps have mentioned, then the chances of us getting our money back would be significantly reduced. There is nothing stopping this guy "dissapearing" himself leaving us high and dry!
I'm sure you probably all think that we have "mug" written across our foreheads, but we are trying to balance out getting these reps into good homes with also trying to recoup our money.
As you are aware we have quite a lot of animals of our own to look after, many of them rescues, I have worked with animals all of my life and would never see an animal suffer, hence why we took on 2 of the Geckos ourselves, and yes at considerable cost (considerable being that we wont be getting the double buggy that we needed for quite a while now)
Anyway enough of me ranting and I hope you perhaps understand things from our point of view a bit better.

Thanks again for all your P.M's of support and best wishes
