I shouldnt think they would get £1400 for one now
True to say this season £400 for a super mack is about right, but ray hines has macks from £140. Next season the ave will be around £200, if not less, as more of them are bred. Always happens this way. Think I will hold on till next year and get some of my german breeder, prob get for around 100 euros each then. Nice animal tho, good job you got a bid to hold the price above £100

hi ssthisto
yes i know who you are from livefoods, i am in sheffield, sorry i dont have a courier but sure i saw a post a couple of weeks ago about 3rd party couriers, people arranging to pick up and drop of with there account, im not a real fan of couring although personally i have had no bad experiences, would be willing to meet part way with in reason for petrol. Anything that is co-dominant is going to go down in value pretty quick its the same with corns and the python morphs, i have these because i like to have somthing different before they become more common, i should have super mack albinos next year (all home bred), i also have normal macks available but mine start at £100

That said, I'm going to hang back on bidding for a bit - I would really like to know if the £100 bid is genuine and see if anyone's likely to go over what I can justify spending between now and, say, Sunday morning. |

to be honest, if 400 is the usual price for these, then 100 whether it is real or not is a good price..
but before you start, i do get where you;re coming from, but i'm sure i read that steven said it was a real bid

But I'm familiar with people 'retracting' bids on other forums - I've been stuck with a much higher bid than I had originally intended because an 'unknown' jumped in with a price they later decided they couldn't afford. That's why I queried it ![]() And, of course, someone might pop in between now and Sunday at 5PM and push the bids up past what I can personally justify spending with Christmas on its way. |
