Default *SOLD - 05 Royal Python (2'6") + full setup SOLD*

Hello all,
I have only had my Royal Python (Sultan) since July 05. I need to sell it I'm afraid as I need the space and the money
Sultan has been a great eater (until now - see below) with no problems at all and shedded with no problems either, I have kept a record of dates and times when Sultan has been fed (no idea if Sultan is male or female).

Sultan hasn't eaten for the last 3 weeks but I have read that this is common this time of year and nothing to worry about (this is NOT why I am selling), I was speaking to a member of staff at my local garden centre today (I occasionally supply them with zebra finches and Chinese Quails) when I went to get some bird seed and she said her 2 Corn Snakes do the same thing. I still think it's odd considering the viv is heated lol

I have kept an accurate weekly record of weight loss since the 15/11/2006 when Sultan stopped feeding and has only lost 10 grams since then which surprised me, I have offered Sultan a mouse twice since the 15th but didn't want it, I will be trying again tonight, if successful tonight I will post a photo, you can check the exif data for the date/time.

I bought it from a breeder in Milton Keynes called Sam Boyle or Boyles (not sure of the spelling). It was apparantly born in April 05 approx.

Sultan is very healthy and shiny as you can see in the photos and doesn't mind being handled at all. Sultan is just over two and a half feet long.

Right so what's for sale then.....
  • Royal Python approx 18 months old, just over 30 inches long.
Beech viv 61cm L x 58cm H x 38cm D, this is only just over 3 months old and like new still and cost just over £50 from livefood.co.uk as I sold my mahogony one due to a furniture change.
Habistat Dimming Thermostat with infra red bulb.
Digital Timer for the dimming thermostat.
Extension lead included for the electrics.
    Heatmat.
Substrate only about 6 weeks old as I replaced it all.
    Large water bowl.
    Cork log.
    Artificial plant.
    Viv lock.
    Large cave which Sultan loves
Approx half a dozen frozen mice.
I will also be including the beech table that the viv is on in the picture.

I'd like £150 for the lot but will consider serious offers, viewing very welcome so you can inspect Sultan and the equipment all you like.

I will sell the snake for £60 if wanted on it's own, then sell the viv after.

I'm not out to waste peoples time, this is a genuine sale by a genuine person. I live in Kempston, Bedford, I could deliver within say 30 miles if transport is a problem for you.

PM me if your interested or email to simon.hodge@ntlworld.com, I will do my best to reply promtly.

I took this photo in July but like it so much I just had to put it on here lol.

I will be sad to see it go, it took 12 years to get my wife to agree to me having a snake! I have made her promise that if I wanted a replacement in the future when I can afford to replace it that she won't object LOL

It's never been a problem. The light is only on in the day time, Sultan comes out after dark so there's never been a danger.
