"Whois" reports are rarely succesfull anymore. More and more owners are refusing to allow details to be published in this manner.



Initial checks show that "mrd" and "Elanor" are NOT the same person. I need to get on a different computer tomorrow to confirm that though.

i hate to say, told you so. but people didn't listen. in fact i remember some people even supporting MRD against my accusations.

look in that thread it brings up several discrepancies which MRD conveniently didn't challenge or even deny. james simpson, MRD, Sano and Eleanor are all part of the same group, sometimes they are even the same person. God, MRD should have had his ass kicked off of this forum the first time he sent dead animals through the post but he wasn't. but then he scammed me and several other people across many different forums and yet he still wasn't banned, in fact i doubt very much that he is banned now.

KOD....I think the I told u so approach is a little insensitive...PPL have lost money here and thats the last thing they want to hear...some of them werent even members when MRD (if they r even connected) was here!

i've got an IP adress or part of, not sure. it was posted on my website when James Simpson left a message in my guest book. my guest record IP addresses. an interesting thing is that James Simpson apparently did not know about this forum. i only advertise my site on forums and unless james has hacking skills as well a fraud skills or he has an interest in lasers, anime and bonsai (doubt it) then he must have been on this forum at some time. which leads me to the MRD factor.

before my host changed it software the whole address was available. however this may be of some help.

EDIT: Nat, he still should have been thrown out of the forum. beleive me i know what its like to be scammed. it wasn't like i was the only one who had problems with this jerk. and it wasn't the first time he ripped someone off either.

I think the sales where a little bit fishy in the beginning anyway, just had a bad feeling about it from the start. I think large dealings like this should always be avoided as you can never be positive who u are dealing with. I know u can say the same about someone selling anything on classifieds but at least theyre usually breeders or a family whos kept it as a pet so u can usually see pictures, this elanor/sano person didnt post any pictures or any proper details as far as i ever saw :p

Plus did nobody find it suspicious they first posted saying the animals needed to be sold ASAP to start another business yet they took AGES organising themselves and making excuses why they couldnt get round to sending them yet?

ooh and lest we forget. MRD originaly said he came from merseyside, conveniently also the place where james simpson comes from. and MRD still claimed he never met James simpson in real life.

EDIT: but remember, IP adresses change according to where the computer is located. so in all honesty, IP addresses are not 100% reliable.

I've got to say this was the most disorganised and worst scam ever..

I offered to pay by paypal for what i'd ordered and was told to wait until reticulas received the collection, for which I'm grateful - but if people are offering to pay.. why say no if you're scamming them?

And i mean, it was all so vague, no one knew anything, couldn't sex them? It made no sense.. yet was not designed to get orders, if they'd have said, 10 female beardies, then they would have got orders, instead they said can't be sexed or they didn't know yet.

Did anyone actually send any money? I had it ready to send and offered to do so but did not receive payment details.

Possibly the worst scam I've ever seen, pretty sure a scammer with a properly organised list of stuff, pretending to be a private keeper who's given up the hobby but can courier.. could make a few thousands from here!

Instead it was vague, and they didn't take payment (from me..) so what was the point?!
