My setup was a 3' long aquarium with hood and built in UV (A) tube. Had 2-3" of compost/peat/top soil (can't remember which!) substrate. Inside I had about 3 Ficus benjamina plants and 2 palm plants. Lid had 2 small removable panels on it measuring about 5"x2" - I drilled holes in these for airflow. Only heat supplied was from the UV tube. Temp averaged about 80F during the day, at night I let it fall to room temp (65-70F I think).

I managed to recently acquire 2x Exoterra 30cm cubes for half price that I am very tempted to setup for Pygmy's again.
