Default For Sale:Beautiful pair of Uromastyx Ornata. Complete Set-Up

Hi all,

OK, after desperately trying to get the required documents to export my pride & joys over to Argentina, looks like I have to give up UK Defra documents, no problem, the Argentina side though, disasterous!

So, I am going to have to sell my pair of beautifull Uromastyx Ornata lizards. They are now just over two years old, captive bred & bought from Terry Thatcher. 1 male & the other is female, the male is now very colourful, lovely blues covering most of his body, very eye catching. The female is also very pretty, she's mainly a light sandy colour with the typical yellow/olive stripes. They are both extremely tame and full of character. Simply fantastic pets, to be honest out of all the things I'm going to be leaving behind, these are my only regrets, a pure joy to keep and always entertaining.

I will be selling the two lizards complete with their vivarium(which I built myself), including two thermostats(one for bsaking spot, dimmer type so doesn't cut on & off), the other set for night backup wih red night bulb. I also have 3 tube lamps in use, each with an individual power unit. With these I run three ExoTerror Reptiglow lamps, two of the 8%UVB and one of the 2% to bring out the colours.

I also have some lovely rocks and vivarium branches & plenty of reptile sand.

I'm going to take to try to add a couple of photos of the lizards & the vivarium set-up when I get on my desktop computer(this laptops so empty).

If you'd like me to email you some photos, drop me a request and I'll be happy to do so. loungelizard@hotmail.co.uk

I have no idea what to ask for in terms of price, I'm thinking in the region of £500 as I payed £250 alone for the juvenile lizards, they were only weeks old at that time and tiny, of course add to that the large amount of money spent setting up with thermos, lighting etc. alot of moneys worth here. Offers will be considered, I really want the lizards to go to a good home so only people who are prepared to put in the time & care contact me please.

Thanks,

Lee.

Hi Billyboy,

No problem, how would £425 for the lizards without the viv set-up sound?

If you'd like any more photos let me know, I could email a few to you.

Regards,

Lee.

That is alot lower than I was expecting to get for them to be honest. How about meeting me at £350? They're a beautiful pair of young adults with lovely temprements

Are you experienced in keeping lizards, out of interest?

Regards,

Lee.

The dimensions of the viv are approx W:33"xH:25"xD:22". I also have an under viv enclosure accessed by a twin tunnel system as seen in photo below(if I manage to add successfully).

Regards,

Lee.
