i'm on my phone so couldnt see that picture very well sorry.
but it did look rather familiar! i've rescued dozens of them from friends homes and my cats lol! and released them back into the wild. they are really docile and easy to keep.

quite surprised to see it here

good luck finding a home for it!

You've rescued African house snakes from your Cats? In Britain?

Are you sure you're not thinking of the native British Slow worm - which is a lizard?

Sorry I forgot to mention that I am previously from South Africa...

Brown house snakes, as they are called there, are very common in the area I stayed in.

I read about these snakes elsewhere, and they seem to be nice snakes. Maybe an alternative for corns. I've seen ads on classifieds and shops as well. Apparenlty htey are very easy snake to keep.
