your in kent so you are far more likely to sell them than way up north,if all else fails stick them on ebay and put buy it now or reserve price,a dealer will surely make you a offer on them all,
i have bought from internet sites ebay and local, yeh you wont get what what you think there worth but if they have been in the pond for that long a established pond owner would rather take yours than risk getting khv from isreal or jap stock,(i know i have been down that road)also check for local koi people, as already mentioned theres a great difference between grades and show grade are worth money but for people wanting large ponds with nice fish this is the ideal way to get them, its hit and miss i have paid alot of money for some fish and little for others which were just the same. pot luck realy whether the ideal buyer is there or not but research list sell, just depends if you wanna put the time in to get them sold or hope they sell themselves. ps i miss my koi left with 1 shusui a few commons and a shub from last years fry and cant bare to let them go ![]() |

i did have but i filled in my pond and built a shed in its place, also the other shed had home-made tanks in which were just dismantled in the last 2 weeks hence no-more fish
i havent realy gone off them as such but the new shed i built was gonna have a large pond inside it and then sucken in the ground but changed my mind and just made a normal shed (well better than normal lol settee and sky tv ect ect but only half a floor at the minute lol)now i am into the reps so have given up on the fish and recently got rid of the last lot which only consisted of a 14inch shusui full of eggs and a male sanke shubs goldfish and common carp the commons being 2 seasons ago fry, i sold the main things i had awhile back when i moved the fish into my old shed to overwinter and keep temps up for growing on,and i got more money for most of my things selling them on ebay as secondhand than what i paid for them new, kinda funny but its true, its all in how you explain things and your reputation, As for your fish they aint no good to someone with a 1000 gallon pond so its gotta be someone more into koi ponds than the average person, but also that means they got more money than the average person ,i wouldnt get your hopes up to high on price but its like anything 1 person maybe offer no-where near what you want but another maybe offer more than you want, its just finding that right buyer thats the hard part, personaly i aint got money now-adays but have always preferred a good home than money in my pocket,i guess thats why i am always skint ,well until i sweet-talk the wife![]() |

1500 is for all of them. I have some koi with some really nice colours. We have never had any problems with the koi. We've always kept golden orfs in the pond, because if the golden orfs die off then we know something is wrong with the water. The water has been kept to a high standard, always has been cleaned. I will get some more pix of some of the really nice ones.
