Hi all, im just testing the water really but would anyone be interested in my male beardie?? He is a proven breeder ( as my last post about my drusilla will show) eats well esp salad......Im not 100% sure wether to sell him as i do love him but now Drusilla is not with me anymore, I am concerned for his happiness as he does not like being on his own and i dont want to get another beardie as i get too attached to them and when they die I end up devastated......Some of you may not understand but i hope most of you will......Yes i could keep him but ive started to notice a difference in his demeanour already and dru only died last night....so he really does need to be in a more than 1 beardie household.......

Also im really not sure what to ask for him as im not in this for the money but obviously i cant give him away as i have spent a lot of money on him since he has been with me....so any ideas anyone????

Please let me reiterate that the only reason i am considering this is because i dont want him to be unhappy and want to do whats right for HIM

Aww. what a shame Are you sure you wouldnt prefer to keep him? They will adjust quite quickly I believe, and you should see him pick up just fine.

I do agree with what u are saying about them adjusting but when i got him he was kept on his own and was sad and when i brought him home and he was with Dru he was soooooooo much happier...u could just see it in him......I just dont want him to be lonely and on his own

Dru only died last night he probably is a bit confused at mo, give him time and he will soon be back to normal

Hi all and thanks for the replies....well ive decided that yes Angelus needs to go to new home......I cant help feeling so sad for him as I know he prefers to be with others and not on his own......Maybe its affecting me more than him but I need to know that ive done the best for him and if that means him going somewhere wheres theres other beardie for him to interact with then thats what i will do........

to my mind we dont own animals, they own us and its up to us to make sure that THEY have all they need and want....Our feelings should come second......even though they make me sad

So please check out the pic of him, he truly is a lovely boy...he was a bit grumpy when i got him but as ive handled him regulary and he comes out at least twice a day to roam about, he has calmed down wonderfully.....He also shows no fear with my cats and dog. He loves large mealies (occasionally), waxies and locusts....Not too keen on crix although he will eat them if theres a short supply of anything else!! He also loves his salad......He has calcium dusted on all foods and has had all the correct uvb/uva lights and temps..plus he likes to have a bath and absolutely adores being misted!!!

He is a great character and lots of fun to have around so if u are interested please get in touch

He dosent come with a viv or equipment as my large boa would benefit from the larger viv.

I am asking £70 for him or please make me an offer.......I can only politely decline it!! As i explained earlier i am not in this for the money but obviously would like to recoup some of the money that i have spent out...this then allows me to spoil my other lot a little bit more!! lol

I am in somerset so collection is advised as I dont like couriering reps as i feel it stresses them out......

Yep it is......ive had to make that hard decision and if things had gone as planned and dru was still here, i wouldnt be letting him go but i gotta do whats right for him.....Ive just pm'ed u actually lol
