Slap my wrists if I'm wrong - but is that not an amur Ratsnake ( Elaphe anomala)?

Yes it is an Amur which is the same thing as a Russian ratsnake

The snake was sold to me as an Amur ratsnake Elaphe Schrencki also known as a russian . I know sh#t about ratsnakes he was the first I ever got.

I'm pretty sure he is an Anomala, he's way way lighter than my Russian and she's only an '06. (although they look identical as hatchlings, Schrencki go very dark -well, jet black whereas the Anomalas are lighter and what I call wishy washy lol) Defo get some more opinions though. Still a lovely snake whatever

a picture for comparison would be useful but the shop got them in as Amur Ratsnakes for a customer I got the last one.
