Them both together

And then theres the bosc, bit of a story behind him, but hes a pain in the arse, he was a friend of mins and escape, was living wild for 3 weeks, was very very aggressive and shy when i first got him, but i couldnt resist because he has some fantastic colours i havent seen much in boscs...with regular handling, say an hour everyday he will tame down VERY quickly, as it stands i can only get him out about once a week, and although he is getting better, hes still not there...

Heres a couple of pics

Bosc MUST go into atleast a 4x2x2. as i feel this is a big part in him feeling more comfortable,

Please reply here or pm me with offers or questions, would be gratefull for experienced voices on what you tihnk the striped boa is worth...

Cheers

Kev,

First of all, congrats for all your lovely reps. Just a quick question (or 2).

Were the boas bred by yourself ? Are they common boas ?

Recently I read a post by Gaz saying something about stripes on boas that sometimes are a genetic trait and sometimes are just an occurence in that particular animal (I think that's what I read, but ain't 100% sure).

The reason I'm saying this, is because if you know the snakes background there might be an indication whether the stripe on that snake was passed on by their parents or not.

Probably that would affect the price, but still it's a stunning snake.

If I had it I'd probably keep it and would be very reluctant to let it go as you probably are by the sounds of it.

ive seen all 3 of these animals in the flesh and every single one is in perfect condition and the striped male is a right stunner, both boas were very placid when we had them out and if i could home them i would in a second!

as for the bosc, all i can say is it hisses lol it was quite late and he didnt feel like being the centre of attention that night

either way if kev does decide to sell the new owner will not be disappointed!

Hey buddy,

Unfortunatly im not the breeder of these two, i was planning on keeping them for a while and breeding them to prove either out... as far as im aware they are both bci, although the striped does have nice eyebrows

your right in thinking that if the stripe is genetic then it is worth more, but if its not then not so much... as for what im looking for... im not really bothered what i get for them, a good home would be much more important to me... but im trying to see what individuals think on price... before sharing what they think if that makes sense ?

Thanks for the replies guys, keep um commin

I've got a genetic striped boa (proven) and the difference in price is massive dependant on if it is or not. Is there no way you can find out?

edit.. ah never mind you've got the sex in original post. Next time I'll read proper!
