Why you should use Lobster Roaches
They do not harbour diseases. They are 100% healthy and on comparison 100% better than crickets, reasons you ask?
1. they don’t smell
2.they breed faster yet can't infest.
3.they don’t chirp.
4.if you leave them in the viv they wont nibble on your animal.
5.they don’t die off as easily.
7.they eat anything
8.if they do get out, they will die in a matter of days, or go out side because they'd rather burrow in rotten logs.
9. their chitin rate is low, so you can be a bit over the size range and wont impact your animal as easily.
10. they are soft bodied and packed with protein
11. they are the best bug out there!!

Can you expand on the 'if they get out they won't infest' a bit please?

I don't understand why they wouldn't infest your house, most other roaches woudl as far as I'm aware. I've gotta be honest and the reason I don't like the thought of these is they will get out and infest my house

They are a tropical species and will only survive with enough heat.. usually 85f and up.

Depends on your room temperature but I think something like 70 would not be enough for them. You'll have to confirm this with Rick..

They need high temps to thrive and breed I keep mine at above 85f. Lots of folk keep them in their garage on a heat mat or in a shed. I kept upwards of 20,000 in my house and my house is not infested. Now they live in my livefood room.

Forgot to add, European species of roach can infest your house, but lobster roaches are tropical.

Also forgot to add never ever use German roaches they are the worst roach for infestation, if you ask any pest control company thye will tell you this. Also just out of interest did you know that some species of roach can survive a nuclear blast amazing! Also there are some very attractive species of roaches about Porcelain roaches are cute cool but hard to get hold of. I have some very large hissers, great pets

Beardies love the lobster roaches and I have had good feedback from customers who have hard to feed lizards, fussy eaters, the roaches seem to stimulate the feeding hunting response, perhaps its the way they move.
