Can I just add, that this person did indeed advertise on the Arachnophiles forum and whilst I am not aware of anyone actually being scammed, I am aware of no deals actually coming off.

I know of at least one person interested in several (very keenly priced, I hasten to add) spiders and had someone that lives in Birmingham to collect and pay them, they were going to put a good sized order in.

However, the collection and payment in person was refused and payment had to be sent and the animals would then be delivered.

Always sounded a bit suspect to me and others.

I was on the phone to them yesterday and apparently you have to be a business to send live animals to residential addresses. Also in certain areas, they are not taking on any new accounts involving movement of animals. It is for this reason that 3 of my friends who all own exotic pet shops (and 1 that breeds circus pidgeons! ) are now having to use Amtrack.

i have been told this time and again from TNT and have had a lot of rearanging to get animals couriered to and fro. Reptile taxi is very good and very reasonable though.

personally im with Howard on this one I wouldnt trust him for the very reason Howard (Huk) just explained

:P i spoke to my dad earlier XD id been trying to phone him all day to get his opinion. He said not to buy unless he had a good reputation........ I nearly choked and had to admit he does not. He just said to go to Cadbury or look for someone online with a good rep. Im going to search online, because getting to cadbury is hard when you cant drive >.< and Tam does not know when she is next going.

EDIT: he went mental when i said this guy wanted to post them, and told me to report him to RSPCA........

My dad is mad on reptiles XD when he lived here we would basically get a new exotic pet every weekend XD

He wants me to get a snake not lizard too XD........ so ill prob end up beying Sina or an Affie anyway XD
