Default Rehome - Striped Water Dragon

I have a Striped (Indonesian) Water Dragon for rehoming. She was brought in and in fairly good health but a little aggressive. She was brought to me as she was attacking her cagemate.. I later found out the cage mate was an adult Chinese water dragon - about 4 x her size! She hides most of the time. She eats well, when no one is watching. She's nervous, fast, and may always be that way. She's a fully grown female LTC of about 2 years, actual age unknown. She is free to a GOOD home. I personally see no need for the importation of this species as they do not make great pets really and aren't popular, but here she is and she needs a good permanent home.

So.. any takers?

Cardiff location.

Have had a half a dozen requests for this.. who knew she'd be so popular. I should however remind people this isn't really a good handleable pet or a display animal as she will hide, she will bite, she will RUN and fast! she's got attitude that's for sure

Anyway, I'm going to sort out some photos and more information and then get back to people but considering i've had 6 people want her i'm pretty sure she'll be taken by one of them

So she's over two so it maybe difficult but if your carefull and handle her when you can she should be ok... My girl is just over 1 and she's skitty when it comes to me holding her and will throw a bit of a hissy when taking her out of her viv but as soon as she's in my arms she relaxs and almost falls asleep! Water dragons dont like to be clasped so just be gentle with her!

To her future owner don't expect her to take to you over night, it will take a long time, but I can have my male on my shoulder n walk around the house n garden care free, they can make great pets, just takes time!
