The aquarium/viv sits inside the unit, below it has two cupboards with a couple of shelves to separate the cupboards. The unit is mahogany colour and very attractive. Aquaruim comes with light unit. Pics will follow just as soon as I can find my damn charger for the batteries LOL £50 o.n.o
