Default cf royal

Dunno if this is cheeky of me, but thought id ask anyways, dont shout at me lol. I got a cf royal of a internet site. he is healthy, but im having real trouble getting him to feed.

Was wondering if anyone would wana swap him for anything? I know if ppl do wana swap i wont be getting anything rare or high end, but thats ok with me.

Thought it was worth a shot.

???

Has he fed at all? How long have you had him and is he definitely a 'he'? There seems to be lots of cf royals about at the moment (and fairly cheap as well) so you might have problems swapping/selling him. Probably better if you get advice from the experts and get him to feed properly yourself.

Use a hair dryer on the food item once it has thawed out.
Try feeding in his viv/tub/enclosure if you do not already.

Yeah i made the fuzz quite hot before, and tried to feed him in the hide he was in, as not to disterb him too much. I was really happy when he started striking it, but he did it so long without taking it, i gave up after 15 mins, didnt wana stress him out, will try him again 2 night i think.

Sounds like defencive biting.
There are loads of methods people have used to good result.
Warm fuzz in a paper bag, place in viv. Hairdryer. My royal (though not cf or a picky feeder) won't accept food of the floor. I generally need to hold onto its tail and bob it up and down a bit.

i just know old school stuff. we used to put them in a brown paper bag with the prey item overnight.(in the cage) it worked more often than not. i'm just not into ball pythons that much. you should be getting plenty of suggestions soon. sometimes they'll take a slightly gamey one. tons of tricks, even tuna juice....
