to get a postal order you go to the post office and ask for one for whatever value you need and they print you out a slip of paper like a cheque which can be cashed at any other post office then you send it in the post to the person your buying from, so they can cash it, you get me?

a postal order is like a giant stamp (sort of) that you can purchase at a post offfice to any price or value you need, and send it somwhere to someone and they can give it back to the post office and exchange it for the value on the postal order,

basically its like i checque that can be cashed straight away.
