Whats the temps like ontop of the viv with the ceramic in? If its hot enough you may get away with placing the plastic tub ontop of the viv, you'll need to check this though. Just a sugestion, trying to help.........

If you were in Swadlincote I'd say it could be mine as I've had a creamsicile very similar to that one go missing a mth ago, out of a locked viv!

Sorry but I've been searching and laying snake traps with pinkies in for wks in the hope of finding my little man and I ain't irresponsible so don't deserve to have him back eh!- just hope whoever finds/found my boy doesn't have your attitude.

My male went missing from DE11 9HD if anyone finds one in that area please contact me have added a piccie from last yr he's a lot bigger since then.

Have you tried knocking on the doors of the houses close to you? A snake that small shouldn't have travelled far, you don't even have to tell them its a snake, just say you've found a reptile in your garden have they lost one. If they have they then should be able to describe that one. My bets it belongs to one of your neighbours.

Read this care sheet, you'll need to know these things if you don't know much about snakes, just for the time its in your care.

Cool, i'm not getting at you, I didn't agree with you trying to get rid so quick, but at least now your trying to find the owners, who are probably worried sick. Think of it as your good deed for the day

never called anyone irresponsible / maybe they can and maybe they cant but i cant see how anything can get out of something that is locked.(my personel oppinion) just saying people should take more care. when my lizards are out i make sure the room they are in the door is locked and windows shut. i wouldent like to lose them but yes shit happens. if i had more time then i would hang onto it longer but i cant. and i dont have an attitude.
