if i find a good snake like that, it's mine. the proper thing to do is to try to find the owner. if that's not working out, it's his. it's probibly not chipped. if it's his, he can do whatever he wants with it. it's a free country! oh, wait, that's here. if i found a two carrot diamond or anything else of value, it's mine.i'm not trying to rile anybody but to me it's a no brainer.

Im gonna be honest here. If i found a snake and the owner wasnt found say within a months time by myself putting up notices in the local rep shop and other places I would sell it on for money. I would just keep quiet about finding it.

FFS he is not selling it, and is asking around and doing the best he can to find the owner. Im taking it in for him, and if the owner comes forward, they can have it back.
But some people are never happy.

i mean, it's not like a dog that feels emotions and would miss it's pack family. trying to find it's owners is a noble thing but it was after all, lost.

Its still not right! He said he found it but then its for sale?
There will be somebody quite close missing a cornsnake and frantically searching around their house for it...ripping up skirting boards etc etc. Don't sell it!
