I wrote a long ranting reply but my computer crashed before I could post it

Long story short... to suggest that the Reptile Taxi is anything like TNT is rude, insulting, and an outright lie. They may occasionally make a few trips in the same day - to the same area - to save US money, not to make more money. They spend more time on the road, more work, for absolutely no extra profit. They are experienced with reptiles, bring their own boxes, their own heating, everything your reptile needs.

TNT chucks the box on the back of a van overnight and then plays football with it when they get bored. If you're out, TNT leaves your reptile at a depot where it can die of cold. TNT has lost parcels. They will give you your money back. Great whilst your reptile starves to death.

How can anyone compare a personal courier service with such a great reputation as the reptile taxi to an impersonal parcel delivery like TNT. I think you owe them a public apology for your public defamation.

I think the whole point about the difference between a carrier and a courier has been missed.

TNT is a carrier. Man 1 collects box takes to depot. man2 unloads and leaves in depot, man3 picks up and sorts, man4 loads onto a trunker, man 5 drives trunker to hub, man6 unloads, man 7 sorts man 8 laods lorry, man 9 drives to local depot, man 10 unloads, man 11 sorts, man12 loads, man13 delivers.

RT is a courier. in this case, woman 1 loads, woman 1 drives, woman 1 delivers.

Thats worlds apart !

and co loading on a courier (assuming its not miles apart which is not co loading, but doing two jobs) will only add miles to a journey, still no where near the stress of extra handling. And. as already stated, the costs are shared.

No disagreement that your service , being direct one trip door to door, is a little different, but as I said in my earlier post, its gona price you out the market.

i do have to agree. for my work experience ive been working with a parcel/palet delivery service. and Yes a guy collects, takes to depot, kick it off the back of the van and then it gets put on the next day.
but whats said is said, i know its upset people but please, take it to PM's. cant stand all this fighting and what not. reptile taxi is a very good service which ive used a few times with no complaints. we know that, they know that and thats all that matters. whats been put across is quite slanderous but lets just move on. 1 persons opinion. now please lets just leave it?
