Default Rat Snake(Free)

5-6yr old yellow bairds rat snake for free to good home around devon.hes about 5foot long has had problems twice since my m8 got him a year ago.is very aggresive and my m8 cant handle it anymore so hes looking for a new home for him.he feeds fine aswell so really only problem is the handling.hes fine when you have him out the tank but in the tank he will try rip u to sherds.

Well i am sure someone will give him or her a home, but all it sounds like is cage dominance, as my corn put on the big front in his cage but is fine whilst out. Tell your freind to take him out wearing gloves or using a snake hook, you can use a radiator paint roller bar the fluffy bit as a snake hook which costs about £3.

I agree with Anthony if hes really aggressive just use hooks to get him out, no point in sticking your hands in if hes that bad.

Using hooks will stop you getting bitten, but they wont calm it down. It has to learn to trust you.

ill tell my m8 to try handle with gloves etc see what he thinks.he still will probally think about letting him go tho.
