sorry if you think i was harsh, but how can you moderate people you can't see. selling is one thing, but bidding just feels wrong. most auctions by default sell things under the market value, so anyone can log on, think thats a bargain, only so long left on it, i'll bid, without any thoughts for the consequences, this is why there are so many rehomes out there now.
there are already calls for this trade to be stopped, don't you think this kind of thing gives weight to the arguments.

I registered there just to see with my eyes what was happening there.
TBH there is not a lot happaning, no reptiles for sale or auction at the mo. I would never ever sell one of my animals there, however if I found a snake I was after from a person leaving nearby I could of possibly bid for. In that case I'd have means to check the seller out, pay him a visit, and understand why he was selling it in an auction. I hate to inflict my views on others, and sometimes after hearing a few different points of view, I come to understand and respect them. Although in 99% of the cases, I'm damn right in the first place |
