Default POWERSUN-LIKE UV LAMPS & KITS: BARGAIN PRICES!

I have an opportunity which i wish to share with you.

I have a friend in France who is a professional keeper in a Reptilarium for 15 years. He exclusively uses metal vapour discharge lamps, the same tecnologies and coatings used for Powersun lamps from Zoomed.

The lamps are 160W and were tested with a professional UVmeter : UVB output is around 15% and UVA 20-22%.This makes these lamps much more efficient than UV neon tubes.

More, they should be used ONLY IN A VERTICAL POSITION :following this, they can last up to 3 years and do not need to be changed after 6-12 months like traditional neon tubes, the UV output decreases with time bit after 18 months they are still performant.

Animals will benefit from the UV up to a 1 1/2 -2 ft distance.
Dimmer stats can be used with these lamps. They can serve as the main heat source of the viv and provide a hot basking spot.
They do not require ballasts neither,as neon tubes do.They can be used on normal metal or ceramic bulb fittings (E27 size for UE standards).

My friend has given me contact with his providers and i have already made many sales in France ,all customers were really satisfied. They noticed their animals have brighter colours, eat more willingly, and are more active.

I can sell just the bulbs or a kit holding one bulb+aluminium reflector+fittings+ a chain to fix it in the viv+ a protection guard.

These lamps are recommended for the following species :

-All beardies
-Large iguanas (green iguanas, desert iguanas, horned iguanas...)
-Spiny-tail lizards
-Crocodile lizards and all cordyles
-All monitor lizards
-Madagascar Giant Day Geckoes kept in large vivs
-All diurnal skinks like blue-tongued
-Gerrhosaurus (plated lizards from RSA )
-Indoors turtles enclosures
-Gila Monsters
-Yemen chams
...

Orders are to be made through pm's only please,no transaction here.

160W UV mercury vapour bulb only : £22 only !
Same with reflector+fittings+protection+chain (FULL 160W KIT):£40 only !
100W similar lamp only : £ 42 only!
FULL 100W KIT : £ 60 only!

Postage to the UK :shipping and handling are an additional cost as follows :

Priority parcel with 1-2 bulbs : £10
Priority parcel with 1-2 full kits : £ 13

Please consider an UV neon tube+ ballast+ heat source like 100W basking lamp with fittings and clamp lamp will cost you around £ 70 with much lower performances and much shorter lifespan. In 2 years, the cost will be £ 100 minimum with neons and classic lamps,£ 53 incl. postage for one of my full kits.

Use International money orders for payments.

how come yours can be used with a dimmer stat but other MV bulbs cant? Doesnt reducing the power into the bulb reduce the UV output?

Yes obviously, power reduction implies UV reduction.I was talking about this kind of stat, especially made for bulbs:

yes i know and they dim the bulb down when it gets to required temp therefore reducing the power to the bulb. Wouldn't this also reduce the UV output since you are effectively making the bulb less bright? I have always thought this was the case?

Sorry I'm much more familiar with the French designation of these products so i can be a little confused But as i said before, you were right assuming when the light is dimmed,UV radiations are lower:power is one factor ,combined with the internal composition of the gas inside the bulb, glass nature, coatage and many others ,to determine the UV output. But it's not proportionnal, rather following an exponential-like curve:high output rapidly raising with low power, and slight variations after a plateau value.

sorry i am English and that still doesnt mean much to me! So basically if you reduce the power i.e. on a thermostat the UV will be reduced? To what sort of level would it be at a low temp? I always thought these bulbs were good for uromastyx and things like that who like it really hot but were no good for cooler things as the bulb wouldnt be bright and the UV output would be reduced. But I dont know for sure this is just what I have been told along the way sort of thing.
