Would highly reccomend Sam and his courier service. Top bloke and all animals arrived safe and sound and nice and warm too.

I would suggest you invest in a hands free kit though :P

I've just seen this, Sam Where Are you ??

My snakes were originally due today between 5 am to 9 am.

You texted me last night at 00.48 asking me if I would accept them earlier, about 3am.

At 00.50 I texted back to agree.

At 02.53am I asked "How far away are you" your reply was "About 45mins I had to break. Sorry"

At 04.01 You texted me to say your "van had picked up a gremlin in the bad weather of past two days. i've just crossed the m25 but think the best idea unless it shakes it off in the next few miles is to get recovered and drop down as soon as i've replaced the faulty filter tomorrow as i'm doing 30mph currently up hills and not much more going down. basically I think the rain has flooded the filter. It'll take me two hours to change in morning."

At 04.04 I texted you asking "What time do you think you can aim for"

At 04.07 you replied " As quickly as I can. Shop should be open by 10 it's really simple change then on my way straight down."

At 04.10 I said " I've got work tomorrow starting at ten that's really messed things up"

At 04.13 you said " I can drop off after work. Trust me if i could have limped to you I would've I'm at gateway services. I'm not best pleased either."

At 04.16 I said " No I would like these dropped off in the morning I will have to go in late please call me in the morning to advise me i am now going to bed"

I have been ringing you since 09.26 this morning and you have not picked up and I have left you 2 messages.

These snakes have been boxed up since 7am yesterday and I hope they are all ok ?

I would like to say thanx for delivering my snakes yesterday.They are both settling in nicely.I would reccommend you.Your prices are unbeatable.Try not to let people on this forum grind you into the ground.You are one of the only reptile couriers on this forum who is still operating.I will definietly be using you again.Good luck

The snakes arrived here too at 2.30pm only eleven and half hours late however

I am not trying to grind down anybody on here, but this was not fair on the snakes let alone i ended up losing a day's work.

Plumber, am I to assume your snakes weren't late arriving then ?

Everyone,

I am unsure of the need to write such posts as the ones previous to this, rather than Emailing or PMing me foremost. Understandable though, if you were planning to write a counter post to it, explaining that you Did in fact recieve your animals happy and healthy in the end, be it later than planned.
There is no reason to start a battle ground on this thread – if you have a problem, Email me.

Due to absolutely appauling weather, yes my van had some problems and had to be towed from the North of the country to Kent at 4am in the morning - not my ideal situation in the middle of a run I can assure you. There were a handful of animals on board, who were housed overnight and while I took my van to the garage with my partner, Kitty, in a quiet warm and safe bedroom.
For those of you who own a vehicle, you will appreciate that things do go wrong from time to time. There was nothing I could do, other than what I did - fix the problem asap, and get your animals to you as soon as I was able.

With regards to timings; as I said, when driving through gales, torrential rain and hail stones - I would rather get your animals to you safely then not at all (and I'm sure you will all agree with this, even if the times are inconvenient). I would rather get myself home safely aswell! This unfortunately means driving a lot slower than usual, also taking more frequent rest stops. Luckily for me, 98% of you were very understanding and patient.

Please also understand the hours I work – I left Wednesday 10pm, and did not finish this run until this morning (Monday) early Am. I have had less than 8 hours sleep in 5 days. I have done everything in my power to deliver to everyone as quickly as possible with a half working van.

I cannot apologise enough for the situation, I would have of course avoided it if there was any way possible.
If you do not wish to use my service again, then I am very sorry on all counts, but I hope the majority of you will be understanding to the unavoidable Hell I was put in.

With regards to any posts put in this thread - Everyone recieved their new animals, warm happy and safe. It would be appreciated if this could be told by the new owners, also.

Those wonderful people know who they are. I wanted to provide the best possible solution open to all. We tried to run before we could walk. It was never about money, we adore animals and I adore driving. We wanted to reach as many people as possible and help open the countries breeders to all. We tried to meet the demand on this run and it shows why we have to limit the amount we take on board during runs in the future.


My sincere apologies again, and thank you all for your patience and understanding.

I already stated I did receive my 6 snakes from you and for that, thanks.

The one thing that really irrated the out of me was that from 4 in the morning till 10.30 i never heard from you and to be honest my mind was doing overtime, had you broken down, had an accident, lost a snake or even gone off with my snakes.

You were also 3 hours late collecting my snakes.

You should have told me you were getting towed in the end, this would have put my mind at rest.

I started calling and texting you from 9.30 Saturday morning so I could get an idea to tell work, but you didn't return my text till 10.30 and by then i was in with work.

Your profile was active on Friday night at 9.58, i now realise that was Kitty, but how was i to know, this again worried me as to your true whereabouts.

So please all i can say to you is please keep up communication as this would stop your customers worrying unnecessarily.
