I'm still a tad confuzzled about this using stirling at the duty free malarky?

is it THAT much cheaper? Just cus I have no idea how much I'll spend at the duty free, and so i don't want to be stuck with a pile of stirling I can't use at the show, complicated much?

Basicly, they like sterling better, so you get a better exchange rate.

For example, the Golden Virgina is 52.50€ wich at todays rate of 1.17 is £44.87. Paying in sterling you get them for £39.00 ! a rate of 1.34 (based on 2 weeks ago)

10*50g, recommended allowance is 3kg ! work out the savings compared to here !

duty free really isnt all that cheap. unless there is something that you use a lot of and will get it there to save money opver the year, then i dont hink i'd bother too much.

You have to cross the border with sterling anyway no matter where you go its always recomended you cross with at least a fiver in change.
