To be honest, no , they havent.

A lot have been told, but we have been busy trying to ensure we have alternative plans in place, so much so that if the police still have the tunnel entrance closed, we dont need to book in at eurotunnel, but go straight to the ferry port.

No doubt most people would have seen the news, and made enquiries already, I know the hits on the web site are well up.

If we get a chance in the morning then we will of course try to ensure everyone knows, but theres only so much time available.

Just woke up and saw on sky news that the tunnel is still on fire so it looks like your all be taking the ferry guys if that's what Tarantula barn decides.

I can't believe this has happened! I really do feel for you all who are going to Hamm. Fingers crosses you will all get to Hamm and enjoy your day.

At the end of the day the ferries coped before the tunnel, i am sure they will cope today.

A bit ironic though, Bloody delays everywhere are always on the French side

No Nothing new, please be promt or early at your pick up point, ashford needs to be 1 1/2 hours early and it is 99.9% a ferry crossing,

We are unsure of the lengh of delay but shouldnt be too bad tonight

Latest News on the fire.
08.30 12/09/08
Latest news is the fire is still burning
Two train units and a number of trucks on fire
Temps in the tunnel over 1000c
Eurotunnel do not expect to reopen today
With the above in mind, we are resigned to the fact that we will have to cross on the ferry
Current instructions are to turn up at the port, and we will be allocated space
We do expect long delays, and will be making further enquiries, with a view of getting some times for sailings
Trip still going ahead, updates will be made here at 10.30
Coaches will be updated by phone in the day
Ashford Passengers, please still try to arrive by 18.30
Emergency contact number : Steve - 07966898046
