Default New herp club Kings Lynn

I'm starting up a herp club in Kings Lynn as I can't find info of one anywhere (please tell me if you know different).

I'm just starting to build a website for it so let me know if any of you want links added.

Also any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks Helen

My site is up and running but very basic I am in the process of adding more information. But I'm doing the links page now so let me know your web address and I'll put in on there.

I would be interested in joining. I would contact the Lynn news and ask them to do a feature to spread the word. Also put cards up in petsathome and other pet shops. Ask to put a card up in mill lane pet centre in Wisbech too as he sells reptiles. On the web page I would put some of the aims of the club like:
to further knowledge about herp' keeping and to improve the quality of life of herps in captivity, Also a page with local-ish herp vets.
Mailshot all the vets in Lynn and surrounding towns like Wisbech, Fakenham,Swaffham etc with a postcard sized advert' to put on their notice board. With any club, the way to gain membership is to let interested people know about it. Vets and pet shops is where people with herp's will go most.Hold meetings occasionally, perhaps with someone giving a brief talk about say their experienced with a species, or feeding or how to build viv's etc.It could be a popular and active club but I doubt people would join just to say they are a member. You have to give them a reason and gaining info, meeting up occasionally, seeing other member's animals and set ups is a good reason.
Also, on your 'who we are' page, you don't actually say who you are. You only say why you made the website and formed the club. Nor do you say what you keep and there is no contact phone number. If you really expect people to hand over membership fees, you have to provide some details.
