I'm looking into going to Hamm in September, but I'm wondering if there are any age restrictions on who can go and in general if there are age restrictions on how old you have to be to be able to buy a reptile at the show? I've looked around but can't find any info on this

I don't know about age restrictions on buying but if you're 16 or under you have to be accompanied by an adult.

I believe the rules are the same as here, no sales to under 16s without adult.

Having said that, that rule is broken over here enough !

although i did with my sister and im 14... and again if your 16 or under you need an adult with you

i suppose over 18s and i dont think there is a restriction you must be above 16 i think and if not just get an adult to but it for you

Anything under 16 is classed as a child and needs an adult present

I understand the rules to class anyone over 18 as an adult, so there is that 2 year grey area. I personally would sell to a 17 year old IF i thought they were aware of what they were buying and had the ability to care for it.

With regards to travel, all I can say is that we ask any one under 18 to be accompanied by a responsible adult. Not sure if this is a law or not, just our rules.
