mines a plain old original picture, dont think you should be allowed to do stuff to them tbh as its not really your pic then is it, its something you have altered to make look better using a computer program

Well i took the picture. Looking thru the pictures there have been loads altered and in previous months there have been loads altered even afew that have made the final 10

i know others have altered theres and have done in the past im just saying i dont think pics should be altered thats all. Im not saying you didnt take the pic im just saying why alter it, it looked good as it was and its original not suped up by a computer

Well the rules say you can edit aslong as you state what you have done. So i have broken no rules and stated what ive done. alot of people have edited and not half of them have put down what they have actualy done!

Cropping and resizing are hardly an editting crime. Noone's having a go at you Jake, just saying that it's a photo comp, not a computer generated image comp. However, this is a debate to be kept with the one about whether the comp is judged on picture quality or subject matter

I still cant decide which pic to enter But I'll sort it at some point in the next half hour I think..

IMO no photoshopped images should be allowed, can make a larda look like a ferrari using that...

IMHO cropping and resisng isnt a real crime as you are not adding or improving any thing (tone, warmth, contrast, bightness, colours ect), it is still 100% what you took except smaller, and lets be honest massive photos make browsing harder and slower for us all.

IMO photos should be judged on content and photo quality, as both are important parts of photography...
