why are you taking this as a personal assult jake, im not sayi you have broken the rules nor am i aiming anything at you. ALL im saying is that i dont agree with ANYONE being able to adjust their pics using computer programs as i dont see it as being their OWN photo anymore, like sated you can make a lada look like a ferrari. Cropping and resizing is hardly an adjustment that makes the photo look computer enhanced is it

I have to agree with Jake, photoshopping is an integral part of modern photography, it's an art form in itself, the art being editing without your edits being visible, it takes skill to edit a photo enough to improve it without going overboard and making it look edited.

they are visable tbh though. It dont take that much skill to use photoshop really, tts the whole point of having it. Yeah i agree the vast majority of all the pics we se are shopped in some way or another but what iam saying is i dont think you should do it to pics entered in this comp

Its all supposed to be a bit of fun!

Jake just wanted a funky looking picture, theres no deception in it, its quite obvious that the colour had be altered and he stated that. And photoshop is now a big apart of modern photography, you just have to go on sites such as deviantART to see that.

I like the shop,d version...I like it more than the fish one although that is a cracking picture it seems to try and fool you into thinking the bubbles are real...Jake's is so obviously enhanced...it's funky.

photoshop is a big part of computer generated photography, how ever it is not accepted in many photography competitions as it makes photography look easy when it is not. there is alot of skill envolved in taking a good picture, and i would hate to loose to a pic that has been "made", espcialy after time and effort has been put in....

as for photoshop being a hard and skillfull programe, my 7 year old sister uses it with her eyes shut....

Maybe for basic stuff but it does take a lot of skill to use it to it's full potential. And at nearly £600 a pop for the real thing how many people here have the REAL photoshop?
