Not to sound too picky, but i don`t personally think its fair, and as per the rules:

One picture per user
No previous winning pictures (or extremely similar)
The picture has to be taken and owned by the person entering it
If photoshop or other editing programs used this must be stated
You must have been a member for 1 month & have 25+ posts
If you are a finalist and we see you creating new accounts for the purpose of voting, you will be disqualified (this includes friends and family accounts)

Sorry if its picky and its not just because i`ve entered this month. Anyone can choose a google pic and edit an animal into it. Its still a gorgeous photo, its just a shame the majority of it doesn`t belong to him....

Nope I personally think it should be disqualified. Everyone could steal images off google and edit animals in, it's not in the spirit of competition, and it's not within the rules.

The picture should be taken by yourself, not a professional, not a husband, sister, uncle, giraffe etc..you get the point.

Not to sound rude but I personally think this is on a basis of the % of the picture that was googled and owned. For instance if a person took a photo and added a small amount of another image they hadn't taken but it was a ratio of say 90% theirs 10% not then I think personally that's fine. But in this case the chameleon is such a small part of the image and to be honest you have to sort of look out for it that I can't see why it would be allowed.

Tbh I think the % is irrelevant. The picture should be 100% your own content.

Which therefore would mean that a hell of a lot of lasts months finalists shouldn't have gotten through?

For things like the autumn theme I completely agree. The last months was a bit different what with the film/film poster theme though.

It's the fact he posted the picture and made out it was his own work that gets me though.
