Yeah I was wondering that myself, I'm not really all that impressed by captioned photos, I just hope last month's comp didn't start a trend!

Yeah its strange how everyone is doing captions and paintshop christmas effects.... personaly (I dont choose all the finalists), I usualy prefer just props in most cases, the Halloween ones were brilliant!

Still, there are some great entries so far... both with and without captions/effects.

Well I had fun with it.maybe the last months comp did influence a bit.but hey as long as everyone had fun doing it ' it is not about the winning but the taking part' As I say to my kids!

So far i really likr the one with the bearded dragon smiling and a hat on.......very cheery.

I would like to see a snake win one as they are harder to get emotion in the picture. I think

Im quite disappointed this month with most of the entries so far

Mostly its an exercise in how your photoshop skills are rather than coming up with a new or fresh idea. The halloween ones were much more impressive.

I think people are using the captions because otherwise its just a normal photo with 'happy xmas' written on it...

I do quite like some of the ones with props though. That said I do rather like Velvet Geckos photoshop effort..

I realise im acting as a critic without providing anything to be critisized but ive not got anything xmas stylee to work with and refuse to photoshop something.
