in all honesty i dont think we need "Themed" comps every month, some of the best pics i have seen have been spur of the moment things. personally i think it would be better to do themed ones once every 2-3 months.

would just rather admire the reps for being reps in general rather than the back ground they are on or what someone has done on photoshop.

i think that the theme should to be to do with the month it is. bonfire night this time, but thats a pretty crap thing to make outta so Maybe summin like slleping or summin. but sleeping abit easy. IMO the feeding one is a really good idea. btw when does november open?

I hope to start the next competition on the 2nd November 2007, with 12 days entering time and 12 days voting time (as normal). Unfortunately the "theme" for this month is being used on another forum that recently started monthly competitions, so we are rethinking it.

I will start a new thread now regarding themes, would be cool to get some feedback and ideas on future themes for the competitions!

I can't believe Armistice day hasn't been raised yet! To me, one of the most important dates in the calendar year. The theme of war & remembrance wouldn't be too difficult to pull off.

Guy Fawkes night is a good shout - looking to catch your reptile in an act of treason and deceit through the camera would be challenging, yet amusing.

Don't forget too it's St. Andrews day too at the end of the month. We could celebrate our second generation Gaelic/Celtic cousins! I can just see that wee cute hatchling poking it's head out of the drone of a bagpipe, with a wee tartan kilt on.
